We are your community space. This winter, with increased meeting space we have hosted a seed swap, an academic look at the Bible, movie nights, and this spring we are sharing a flood recovery writing workshop with Peacham. What else can we do?
We have extended our hours! Please contact us via phone, website, Facebook or at barnetlibrary1@gmail.com with requests, inquiries. Check out our NEW ONLINE CATALOG(services)! There is always free and open WIFI.
The Barnet Library has a new Assistant Librarian! We are so excited to welcome Ira Wolf to the Barnet Library family. Ira has already brought a new energy and great ideas to the library. Ira is now here until 7pm on Tuesday evenings. Come on in and say hello!
The Barnet Public Library promotes reading, literacy and community engagement in a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in Barnet and beyond. We pride ourselves in our selection of current and relevant material. We strongly believe in free and public information resources for all.
We are always looking for new fresh ways to serve our community. We love ideas for programming, speakers and activities that would make Barnet an even better place to live. Let us know how else we can help. We are strongly committed to ACTIVE COMMUNITY FACILITATION. We strive to make Barnet a home and vital community, not just a collection of houses. Let us know if you have events or conversations you would like to see here in Barnet.
Who can be a member? Anyone! We just need your name, address and phone or email.
We are here for you! Sure, we have books; bestsellers and old favorites, but we are so much more. We have movies, audiobooks, free wifi, printers, copiers, a fax machine, cozy corners, toys, puzzles, meeting space and answers to many of your questions. Tell us what else you would like to see here.
